What Inside Stocks does for you
Size up a company on one page
Instead of piecing together annual reports, finance portals and figures from different sources, everything is in one place: four grades for balance sheet, profitability, cash flow and growth, each figure with its source and report date.
Put the price in context, without a price target
A range shows whether the price sits below, within or above the band in which the share was usually valued in recent years. Measured against its own history, not an opinion.
Compare companies
Every company is analysed under the same rules. That is why grades can be put side by side across industries.
Do not miss changes
Every new report can shift a grade. Pro tells you for your watchlist, with the figure that tipped it. What changed during the week is already published openly on the site today.
From the annual report to the result, with a real example
From the report
Microsoft files its figures with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Fiscal year 2026: revenue 331.84 bn USD, free cash flow 66.99 bn USD.
One figure
Free cash flow to revenue: 20.2%. Of every $100 of revenue, $20.19 is left as free cash flow, after operating costs and investment.
Five fixed thresholds
≥ 0.0% · ≥ 5.0% · ≥ 10.0% · ≥ 18.0% · ≥ 25.0%. Reached: 4 of 5. The thresholds are the same for every company and are published in the method.
To the grade
The cash flow grade is the mean of its 3 figures: (4 + 1 + 5) / 3 = 3.33, rounded 3 of 5. All four grades together: 16 of 20 quality points.
Separate from this is the range: it shows where the price sits relative to the same company’s past valuations. It is not an intrinsic value, not a price target and not a forecast, and it does not count towards the points.

Published rules
Every threshold and every calculation rule is on the method page. If a rule changes, the rule set gets a new number, and every page states the number it was computed with.
To the methodSources and data dates
The figures come from reports filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), grades as of 24 Oct 2026. Prices are daily closing prices; every page names the trading day of its price and its latest report.
Gaps stay visible
3,266 US listings are covered: 2,409 with a complete grade, 712 with an incomplete grade, mostly banks and insurers, 21 without a grade because the data is not enough, and 124 without a usable data set. Nothing is estimated.
Tested in the open
Whether the points are any good is shown not by a look back but by a forward test running since 12 Oct 2026. When each grade changed is published on the site every week.
